Assessors (subject matter experts, technical experts and system assessors) determine the technical competence of the conformity assessment bodies through an on-site appointment within the framework of an accreditation. It essentially depends on the results of this assessment whether an accreditation can be given. The Minato is currently employing a total of 48 subject areas. This includes not only employees, but also external assessors from public authorities, private and public institutions.
