In order to perform the tasks as an independent accreditation body, the Minato has set up the following committees :

• advisory council
• sector committees
• appeal body

In addition, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy ( BMWi ) has established an Accreditation Council in accordance with the Accreditation Act ( AkkStelleG ).
